For those who want to know why Iran's nuclear deal was "bad"

It wasn't.

Iran’s nuclear deal basically means that Iran accepted strict limits on its nuclear program in return for elimination of the sanctions that have been building up for a decade before the deal. Iran unplugged two-thirds of its centrifuges, shipped out 98% of its enriched uranium and filled its plutonium production reactor with concrete. They accepted extensive monitoring by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). IAEA has verified 10 times since the agreement that Iran has complied with its terms, so all nuclear-related sanctions were lifted in January 2016.

Iran nuclear deal was working fine.

But, you could make an argument that Iran deal was bad for two entities.

1. Unites States weapons manufacturers who depend on warfare to make profit + all those who rely on the cash flow from weapons manufacturers when it comes to their re-election campaign funds, like U.S. Congressman Mac Thornberry and U.S. Congressman Rob Wittman, among many others. In 2018 so far, Northrop Grumman alone contributed $2,318,792 to political candidates and committees. And that’s only one out of twenty major weapons manufacturers. Basically, a great deal of your representatives are up for sale to the highest bidder, and the highest bidder happens to have the most money because U.S. has been at war 222 out of 239 years. So the weapons manufacturers buy themselves representatives, and then those representatives make policies that keep the country in perpetual warfare, which then makes money for weapons manufacturers, and on and on it goes. You get the drift.

2. Israel and Saudi Arabia, both of whom have been pushing for the U.S. to confront Iran more aggressively. Also hardliners in Iran, as well as every other country that depends on anti-American sentiment to organize terrorist movements. Pulling out of Iran deal has basically ruined the credibility of U.S. as a world power, not just for this presidency, but for decades in the future. The common sentiment perpetuated by terrorist organizations is that the West is untrustworthy, and this one action basically proves their point. The Iran nuclear deal was also bad for North Korea, because it set a clear precedent on conditions that must be met if they ever want to lift sanctions currently imposed on them. However, since our President has decided that U.S. could go back on its agreement at any time, even when all the required conditions have been met, North Korea now has no reason to enter any agreement. Nor could anyone blame them for it. Would you enter into a binding agreement with an entity that’s going to screw you? An entity that just screwed someone else for no reason but to be petty?

Basically, our current President has surrounded himself with warmongering profiteers, since he is not capable of holding an intelligent thought of his own. In return, they have advised him to do exactly what warmongering profiteers need, which is a good reason to use our tax money to buy another 600 tanks that the Army has repeatedly said it doesn’t want or need.

Welcome to capitalist democracy. Isn’t it swell?
